Morbid Obesity is a very common problem in the USA as well as the rest of the developed world. Bariatric Surgery is the only option that results in long-term sustained weight loss. Patients need education, and seminars if they are interested in Bariatric Surgery. Patients need to be well-informed to make sure that this is the right choice for them. Having Bariatric Surgery and getting the weight off successfully is five times safer than remaining morbidly obese. We believe that education, and seminars are helpful for patients to be able to make the right decisions. We primarily focus on treating morbid obesity, Warren, Madison Heights, Michigan, with bariatric surgery.
An educated patient is a more successful patient for weight loss surgery. We have monthly Education Seminars as well as Pre-Surgical Education Classes and Support Group Sessions. We provide much of the information to you during our office surgical consultation, and we work along side primary care physicians who assist us with thorough pre-operative evaluations. Education, seminars and support groups are a key to success. Knowledgable patients do better overall.
